Water Baptism

If this is your next step, we’d love to celebrate with you at an upcoming baptism.
At One Reason, we believe water baptism is an outward sign of an inward change and an act of obedience in your relationship with Jesus. If you have questions about baptism or would like to know about what we believe check out our Common Questions.

Baptism for Adults & Students (Age 12 and Older)
We currently only hold baptism services about 1 time per year at One Reason Church, due to the fact that we do it outside. To sign up for an upcoming baptism, simply fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
 
Baptism for Kids (Ages 7-11)
We want to make sure your kids understand what baptism is (and isn’t) and why it’s important. If your child has made the decision to follow Jesus and wants to be baptized, we encourage you and your child to take our Baptism Milestone Class together. We invite you to register for an upcoming class using the form at the bottom of this page.

Baptism for Kids Under 7
One Reason Church prefers children under the age of seven wait to be water baptized. We have baptized children younger than seven, after a short conversation with a pastor to make sure the child truly understands the meaning of being water baptized. If you are interested in this, please email [email protected] to set up a time for you, your son/daughter and a pastor to meet.
 
We at One Reason also encourage parents with infants or young children to consider Child Dedication. This is a moment in our services where parents formally call upon God’s blessing for their child and publicly commit to raise him or her in faith. You can register for the next available dedication service using the form.
